Teaching.

Must be wondering what I’ve been up to these days? Hehehe let me tell you. I was teaching at a school in Melaka since 4th October and it ended yesterday. I supposed to teach additional mathematics but due to some other reasons, I was ordered to teach science, bahasa Malaysia and pendidikan sivik.

When the first time I came here, I didn’t know about their environment, the students’ behaviors, the teachers, the administrators and all. I couldn’t imagine what kind of students I’ll be teaching. And after few days…

........

Sesungguhnya mereka sangatlah…. *speechless* budak-budak sekarang dah tak sama macam zaman kita dulu-dulu dah. Lain sangat. I meant, SANGAT. They don’t even know to respect their teachers. Ahhhh too much to be written here.

Dan apabila saya lihat perangai masing-masing, saya sangat kasihankan ibu ayah mereka. Sungguh!

Tapi bila dah sampai sekolah, kawan-kawan pulak pengaruh macam-macam.

Pelajar tak datang sekolah kena tahu sebab apa, pelajar ponteng kelas kena ambil tahu, pelajar sakit kena bawa pegi klinik.

And one of the teachers said to me;

"Syarifah, jangan jadi cikgu. Susah tau jadi cikgu ni. Macam-macam kerja kena buat."

*Senyum*

I knew about that. I acknowledged that. My mum was a teacher. My father too. And they succeeded. Even they had sacrifice our precious moments together, but I knew that they did that because of their responsibilities. My sister-in-law is a teacher. My sister too. Though so many works that they have, but they still do it for the sake of their students, because of their responsibilities and of course, for the sake of Allah.

Yela takde pengalaman apa-apa, tiba-tiba kena jadi guru bertugas.

Sedang seronok berborak dengan sorang cikgu di bilik guru, ada sorang pelajar datang dan bagitau;

"Cikgu, ada budak pengsan!"

Err.

"Kenapa awak jumpa saya? Kenapa awak tak jumpa cikgu lain?" (Haha I didn't say this to her, trust me)

But I thank Him for sending me good teachers to help me during that day.

After 25 days teaching there, I realized that Tun Perak is waaaaayyy much better than other school. I’m a proud Tun Perak’s student hhe :D

Anyhow, I’ve learnt many things here. Thank you for everything.
